I just bought a new grill and want to start cooking out. Are there any grill experts who can give me some advice?

Bob, you need to be more specific. What are you planning to grill? It would also be helpful if you give the altitude where you are located - it can make a difference in recommended times needed to grill certain foods. Such as: a rule of thumb in grilling a 1" to 1 1/2" steak at sea level - medium rare is about 3 1/2 to 4 minutes a side at medium high. Only flip the steak once per side. Make sure to pre-heat your grill prior to grilling anything. Good luck! – Tom F Mar 15 at 1:56
Hi Tom, I'm at sea level and want to try all sorts of different foods on the grill. Steaks of course, but also I'd like to try chicken and fish and was also wondering how well vegetables do on a grill. – Bob Mar 15 at 13:06
Take care to clean the grates and spray with oil after using so they do not get cruddy and rusted! I also recommend Dale's Steak Seasoning for marinating pork chops before grilling-Awesome! – nancy Apr 18 at 17:30
