I'll be working on getting some hints and tips for using the site posted later today and will certainly try to make it more user friendly; thanks for your feedback.

To post a recipe: From the main screen click on the Ask Question button and you will see a data entry screen. Put in the title (name of the recipe) and enter the recipe details in the main box. Enter a tag of Recipe and up to four other tags (e.g. what the main ingredient is) and than click the Ask Your Question button.

Your reputation (the score next to your name) will increase when you post and there are badges that you can earn depending on how much you contribute to the community.
